Dr. Nafisa Huq is a health care professional and academician with a research focus in mental health and its association with health, population and development.
In addition to her teaching responsibility in IUB at the graduate and undergraduate, she is associated with a number of projects in mental health at the national and international level at the school.
Dr. Huq is also the founder director of Monon Psychiatric Hospital, Dhaka, a private psychiatric set up for acute crisis intervention of psychiatric and addiction cases.
