Dr. Yasir Arafat is also affiliated as Adjunct Faculty at MPH Program, ASA University Bangladesh & School of Public Health, Independent University, Bangladesh. He is an early career member of International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), Trainee Member of World Psychiatric Association (WPA) Epidemiology and Public Health Section, Resident Member of International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and selected as special interest group member in prevention of intentional poisoning group of IASP. He intends to focus on epidemiological aspects of mental disorders in Bangladesh. His publications include more than 80 peer reviewed articles and two book chapters credit to his account. He is acting as editorial member of about 10 international peer reviewed journals. He is a regular reviewer of multiple journals of renowned publishers like Elsevier, BioMed Central, Plos.
