MATERS Trust signed a MOU with Bangladesh International Medical Students' Scientific Congress (BIMSSCON) on the 24th of September 2020.
Bangladesh International Medical Students' Scientific Congress (BIMSSCON) is the largest medical student congress of Bangladesh. Every year, the conference aims to introduce students, from home and abroad ,with the latest development and recourses in medical science around the world.
BIMSSCON is the only conference in the country which calls for research initiatives exclusively catered to undergraduate students.
BIMSSCON 2020 is the 4th edition of the congress, and will be held virtually on 16th and 17th of October, 2020.The theme of BIMSSCON 2020 is "Healthcare in Pandemic: Integration of Clinical approach with Research and Public Health Education'.
The undergraduate medical students today are among the next generation leaders in the healthcare industry. Their involvement in learning to integrate clinical approach with research can facilitate innovative developments in the field of public health at home and abroad.
The MOU was signed with a sole intent of engaging with with undergraduate medical students and generating a learning platform for research with a focus in mental health.
MATERS Trust envision a Bangladesh where every individual has opportunity to gain optimum mental health and where every individual with a mental health disorder has access to necessary facilities for early identification, treatment and management.
